Why use an accredited company?

"Why use an accredited company" is a question asked more frequently than in years gone by, maybe it is because of the reduction in Insurance Assessor surveys, or because there are so many options available, and cost can very much influence decision making.

After all why pay for an accredited skilled professional if you can install something yourself? Even if you don’t want to, there is a plentiful supply of unaccredited companies offering unbeatable prices.

Unfortunately what the DIY and unaccredited companies don’t tell you, is who do you go to when things go wrong. I am sure we are not the only company who has noticed an increase in calls from people who have bought their own equipment and cannot install or commission it themselves, or those who cannot make contact with the company who originally installed their system now it isn’t working.

A system installed on a price basis only will always appeal to many, but incorrectly designed systems that have incorporated substandard equipment poorly installed, will inevitably cost more in the long term, either by failure to detect or shorter periods of longevity.

It is always worth looking at what you do for a living, especially if your business is accredited by a governing body and asking if you would recommend an unaccredited company in your area of business. If not, why would you take the chance with the business’s serving you.
